China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) was 51.2%, up 0.3 percentage points last month. The index has been since March 2009, at the critical point is always the expansion of more than 50% range, indicating that the overall manufacturing economy in China is still to maintain growth.
Survey, the export orders index was 50.9%, back above the critical point, and up 2.6 percentage points, but still below historical levels over the same period; September for manufacturing export season, in spite of the recent debt crisis in Europe and the global economic downturn increased risk of other adverse factors, this month, China's manufacturing industry is still on the rise of foreign orders, subject to many uncertain factors, the future of the export situation is cause for concern.
Main raw materials inventory index was 49.0%, slightly higher than the previous month by 0.2 percentage points, but still below the critical point is located, indicating that the main raw material inventory to reduce the manufacturing sector.
Situation from the industry, tobacco industry, paper and printing industry, chemical fiber and rubber and plastic products, textiles and garments and fur feather products industry, non-metallic mineral products industry was the main raw material inventory growth;
Non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, general equipment manufacturing, special equipment and instrumentation, cultural and office machinery manufacturing, petroleum processing and coking industry the main raw material inventory reduced significantly.
Employing index was 51.0 percent, up 0.6 percentage points, for 7 months at the critical point, indicating that manufacturing firms continue to maintain a small amount of steady employment growth momentum.
Situation from the industry, beverage industry, chemical fiber and rubber and plastic products industry, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, textile, fur and feather products manufacturing industry and other industries the demand for labor increased significantly.
